The Bible says that God is sovereign, which means God has supreme authority over everything. He created everything. He is the only one who can allow or not allow anything to happen. He is in full control. God allowed his children to take control of their choice to love him or not.
He will never take control of us to make us love him.
That is why in Galatians 5:22, one of the Spiritual fruit is self-control if you love God. You must choose to love God by obeying his Son’s teaching and commandment. God even gave up his control of this world temporarily to the devil.
1 John 5:19, We know that we are children of God, and that the whole world in under the control of the evil one. So, if the devil is in control of the world now, you who love God need to take control of your life and live it by God’s will if you want to be with him forever. Because the day is coming when Jesus will return and take control of this world from the devil.
Philippians 3:20, But our citizenship is in heaven. And we eagerly await a Savior from there, the Lord Jesus Christ,
21 who, by the power that enables him to bring everything under his control, will transform our lowly bodies so that they will be like his glorious body.
Be disciples of God’s word and know the will of our Father, because only those who obey his will become his children.
